PLEASANT SURPRISES – MANNER OF THE KINGDOM

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33, KJV)

You are welcome to the last Sunday in the year 2018 Hallelujah!  Today we shall be concluding our topic on the Covenant of Prosperity.  You must remember that the prosperity plan of God is a covenant.  “ But you shall remember [with profound respect] the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:18, TAB)

There are 3 main things that you need to know about the Kingdom and the three works together.  We have been able to look at the matters of the Kingdom.  We continue with:

  1. The Manner of the Kingdom

“Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.” (1 Samuel 10:25, KJV)

This is a function of how i.e. the operation i.e. running of the affairs of the kingdom.  There is a manual of how things are supposed to operate in the kingdom. “Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.” (Matthew 13:52, KJV)

A deviation from the operation manual makes you ineffective as a king.  If you are a king and you do not know how the kingdom operates, you are not better than a servant.  “There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.” (Ecclesiastes 10:5-8, KJV)

The manner of the kingdom is according to giving and receiving:

Philippians 4:15-19

2 Corinthians 9:6-10

2 Corinthians 8:1

  1. The Renewal of the Kingdom

“Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.” (1 Samuel 11:14, KJV)

This is what sustains your kingship, rulership or kingdom. Renewal of the Kingdom demonstrates where you stand before the king.  It answers the question of fruitfulness as a child of God.  (John 15:16, KJV)

It encompasses evaluation by the King Himself.  “He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.” (Luke 13:6-9, KJV)

Kingdom renewal is what causes you to go from strength to strength when you appear before him.  “They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” (Psalm 84:7, KJV)

Kingdom renewal with respect to prosperity is according to seedtime and harvest—Genesis 8:22
