CELEBRATED NOT TOLERATED

The disciples went and did exactly what Jesus told them to do. They led the donkey and colt out, laid some of their clothes on them, and Jesus mounted. Nearly all the people in the crowd threw their garments down on the road, giving him a royal welcome. Others cut branches from the trees and threw them down as a welcome mat. Crowds went ahead and crowds followed, all of them calling out, “Hosanna to David’s son!” “Blessed is he who comes in God’s name!” “Hosanna in highest heaven!” As he made his entrance into Jerusalem, the whole city was shaken. Unnerved, people were asking, “What’s going on here? Who is this?” The parade crowd answered, “This is the prophet Jesus, the one from Nazareth in Galilee.” (Matthew 21:6-11, MSG)

Looking at Jesus as an example, before he could start his earthly ministry he had to be celebrated.  “And a voice from heaven said, This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” (Matthew 3:17, NLT)

Celebration can mean affirmation, validation, trust or believe.  It shows that you believe in the ability of the person.   God the father had to let Jesus (God the son) know that He is not alone despite the fact that He is now present in the flesh on the earth.  In the midst of the multitude, He was celebrated.

In life, whatever you appreciate, appreciates in value.

Something wonderful that you ought to know as a child of God is that your rebirth (accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior) is a celebration.  “Thus, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one [especially] wicked person who repents (changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life)…” (Luke 15:7, TAB)

When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, you were not tolerated there was a great celebration in heaven.

Realize the following:

1. You will always encounter different people and different environment.  In life, you have different people surrounding you.  There are some that just believe in the vision immediately you announce it, some join others when the vision begins to gain traction while others have to see the manifestation of the vision before they join in.  For any man to function optimally, such a person needs an atmosphere of celebration not toleration.

Sometimes what is against you have what you need tied down. Obstacles in life are often pathway of opportunities. The fact that someone is against you does not mean he cannot be useful to your destiny.  There is almost always a treasure locked up in what is against you therefore unlock it.

2.You need to know what to say to any contrary voice.  A contrary voice is not a conquering voice.  A contrary voice might challenge you but it is not supposed to overcome you.

3.There is always a path to the fulfillment of any destiny.  Thought Provoking and Puzzling Instructions does not mean Rejection.

And Isaac said to Abraham, My father! And he said, Here I am, my son. [Isaac] said, See, here are the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt sacrifice?, Abraham said, My son, God Himself will provide a lamb for the burnt offering. So the two went on together.” (Genesis 22:7-8. TAB)

4.There is at least a few that are ready to celebrate you no matter how unworthy you might seem.  This kind of people understand that beneath the rags are riches, inside the earthen vessels are treasures, amidst the confusion is the solution and despite the perceived weakness is unquantifiable strength

If people don’t respect you and your time, they don’t respect your wisdom.  It is what you respect that you gain from.  Don’t spend serious time with casual people.

5.Even if people refuse to celebrate you, never tolerate yourself.  You might need to celebrate yourself.  In some cases it is not that those around you are bad but because they do not understand the principle of celebration they may not know that you need to be celebrated.  You may need to with wisdom remind them.
