KEYS TO MARVELOUS MANIFESTATIONS—Love Channel

“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;” (Deuteronomy 7:9, KJV)

A whole lot of times we are running after strategies and methods to have headway in life.  Both are excellent but without love they amount to nothing.  The love of God is the first commandment given to each and everyone of us.  If we get his love right everything else will go right for us.

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” (Mark 12:30, KJV)

Everything else that pertains unto life and a glorious living hinges on this first commandment.

When you love God he knows you and everything about you but if you do not, he knows you from afar.  “But if any man love God, the same is known of him.”  (1 Corinthians 8:3, KJV)

It follows that if you love him and he knows you everyone of your problems will know one or two things about him.  This is one of the reasons that the Bible advises that we should give thanks in all situations.  “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV)

How to demonstrate love

  1. You feed his sheep—“So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” (John 21:15-17, KJV)

  1. You obey his commandments—“But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” (1 John 2:5, KJV)

“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” (Romans 13:10, KJV)

  1. You love the brethren—“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” (1 John 3:14-15, KJV)

“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” (1 John 3:10, KJV)

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” (1 John 4:7-8, KJV)

  1. You are not a hypocrite—“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” (1 John 4:16, KJV)
  2. You are not fearful—“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18, KJV)

What are the benefits of love?

  1. You have revelations—“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:10, KJV)

“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” (John 15:15, KJV)

  1. You are not forgotten—“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” (Hebrews 6:10, KJV)
  2. You have a blank cheque—“And Solomon loved the Lord,” (1 Kings 3:3a, KJV)
