“And all the people went up after him; and the people played the flutes and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth seemed to split with their sound.” (1 Kings 1:40, NKJV)
One of the names of God is the Everlasting Father and as we are in the midst of the years, he will deal with every kind of difficulties in the mighty name of Jesus. “He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.” (Habakkuk 3:6, KJV)
This everlasting father is a good God because the Bible describes him as being, “Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.” (Psalm 48:2, KJV)
He is not just the joy of the whole earth but also your exceeding joy. The psalmist describes a situation of deep pain from deceitful men. “Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.” (Psalm 43:1-4, KJV)
What he emits or what emanates from his being is joy. This is what he is forever giving out. In another way you can say that it is the signal that he is constantly sending out to all his creation. Therefore for you to receive anything of worth from him you need to send joy back to him. The Bible says, “Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:” (Psalm 66:1, KJV)
You do not just make any kind of noise to him. It must be a joyful noise. The angels have been instructed to respond to your instructions and the earth has been programmed to respect joyful noise.
“The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.” (Psalm 118:15, KJV) It is when you send the right code to heaven in your situation that the Mighty Warrior steps in to deliver you.
Never let the situations that you are facing determine the kind of sound that you make. No matter what, make a joyful sound. “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.” (Isaiah 61:7, KJV)
Though Elijah had not seen rain but he heard the sound of rain and that was good enough for him. “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.” (1 Kings 18:41, KJV)
Sounds gives rise to signs; therefore it is important that we understand sound. “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” (Psalm 89:15, KJV)
The kind of sound that we produce determines the kind of signs that follows us. You must always come to Zion with rejoicing irrespective of the situation. ”And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” (Isaiah 35:10, KJV)
When you come to him with joy, he will never give you sorrow back. He multiplies the joy that you came with into everlasting joy. ”Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” (Isaiah 51:11, KJV)
Sorrow and mourning might surround you but never let it be in your mouth. “But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (1 Peter 4:13, KJV)
There is something great that you are about to obtain and I command that you receive it now in the mighty name of Jesus.
