“Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:34-35, NKJV)
“ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30, KJV)
Conformation to the image of His Son is not a conformation to shame, suffering, sickness or stagnation. Though Jesus suffered on the cross, he did it so that you will have life and have it more abundantly—John 10:10
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9, KJV)
He is called the King of Glory— “ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” (Psalm 24:7-8, KJV)
As a type of Christ and according to the law laid down in the book of Genesis where everything produces according to its kind, the only kind that Jesus can give birth to is glory.
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:11-12, KJV)
If He saw that it was good that means that is the natural order of things and you know Jesus is the Seed. The bible says the Seed of the woman will bruise the head of Satan. “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:15, KJV)
Jesus Christ is the Seed. “Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” (John 7:42, KJV)
A picture of your glorious inheritance:
As a child of God the seed of Jesus is in you. You were not born again with the corruptible seed—1 Peter 1:23
“And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.” (Genesis 24:60)
“And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.” (Esther 6:13)
“A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.” (Psalm 22:30)
From the foregoing, the avenue through which your destiny is expected to overcome all impossibilities is the Holy Spirit. You can also say that it is the Holy Spirit that unlocks the potential of the seed in you. The Holy Spirit confirms your identity and makes everything possible.
He is the third person of the Godhead—there are 3 that bear record… 1 John 5:7
He is a kingdom personality. He commands the affairs of the kingdom on earth today. The father created the world, Jesus redeemed the world and Jesus handed it over to the Holy Spirit.
He has a specific mission when he is come he will teach you all things. He is the master revealer—John 14:26. By the mystery revealed you command masteries.
He grants access without limits—1 Johhn 2:20. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God, so that we may know and understand the [wonderful] things freely given to us by God. We also speak of these things, not in words taught or supplied by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual thoughts with spiritual words [for those being guided by the Holy Spirit].” (1 Corinthians 2:12-13, TAB)
It is not enough to know but you need to also understand so that what He has paid for you do not begin to pay for it again. You are able to understand how to gain access to those things that are freely given. Holy Spirit quickens our understanding. Understanding means believing what God has said. You cannot understand it and still doubt it. If you understand it, you will embrace it.
Phillip asked the Ethiopian Eunuch, do you understand what you read?…by the time understanding came, he said let me be baptized. By understanding, you know the way out of every predicament and the next step to take.
Understanding opens a vista to the abundance of the riches available to you in Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
With understanding given by the Holy Spirit, you are able to speak it in the hearing of anyone and everyone even when it does not even look as if you will have it. “For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20, NKJV)
Understanding takes away every form of delay in accessing your rightful inheritance—Ezekiel 21:27 When it seems it is not being readily given, but by the surety that understanding has conferred upon you, you are unrelenting. A NO to you from the custodian of the one that is temporarily holding unto what belongs to you is not a deterrent but an energizer. Luke 18:1-8
David was not considered at all as a candidate to be a king by his father Jesse—I believe because he was a bit rascally. This resulted in him being sent into the wilderness. Have you considered that birds of the same plumage congregate in close proximity and like attracts like? This is the reason why the “dregs” of the society gravitated towards him when he was running away from Saul.
Though he was a worshipper, how could such a person become a king? The Holy Spirit. By the special grace of the Almighty God, whatever seems impossible in your destiny shall effortlessly be made possible through the Holy Spirit.
